北大毕业三年后，她重返高考考场

2017年，她从上海市实验学校（以下简称“上实”）考入北京大学光华管理学院，完成本科学业的同时，对医学的热爱也与日俱增，立志成为一名临床医生。

这是一条热血但也充满挑战的道路。为圆梦学医，2023年，毕业两年的陈如月决定重新备战高考，开明的父母、曾经的师长与母校上实给予了全面的支持和鼓励。

谈到自己的选择，陈如月表示，“从小到大，尤其是在北大读本科时，我曾反复思及自己未来的职业选择，最后我发现我兴趣最大，也最适合的是医生。”在她看来，自我实现对于一个人而言是重要的高阶需求。在不伤害自己和他人的前提下，能为社会做出一点贡献的同时，完成自己内心的愿望、顺从自己的天性，是一件非常值得鼓励的事情。

在中学阶段，陈如月的学业表现十分优秀。2017年第一次参加高考时，她被北京大学光华管理学院录取，随后进入金融专业，在当时是大众所认可的热门专业。

想学医的萌芽大约起始于大二时，大一的学习以基础课为主，大二开始金融相关专业学习后，陈如月慢慢发现，虽然并未遭遇学习障碍，但金融并不是自己最感兴趣的领域。

“从小到大，尤其是在北大读本科时，我反复思考了很多的职业，最后我发现我兴趣最大，也最适合的是医生。”陈如月说，医生是一个直接和人打交道的职业，医生的价值直接体现于交互过程中服务对象的反馈，“这样的职业对我而言，它的价值是不言自明的，和患者面对面，为患者提供帮助，是医生的职责和使命。”

到了大三，想转轨的心意更明晰了。2020年新冠疫情的出现也起了很大的助推作用，“白衣天使成为逆行者，救死扶伤的社会责任感让我热血沸腾。医学之路于我而言是一条艰苦挑战和成就感并存的道路，挑战越大，成就感越大，这也是急诊医学和重症医学格外吸引我的原因之一。”

陈如月说，选择的过程没有对错，这是一个自我探索、叩问自己、发现自我的过程，起初想学医的想法更多围绕自我展开，经历过疫情之后发现学医对于社会也有非常大的意义。

“疫情之初人手短缺，能派去前线的医生并不多，尤其是急重症领域，此时我对学医就有了非常具体的想象：我可以成为一名急重症医生，加入他们的行列。”到了大四，陈如月选修了许多生物学相关专业课，努力向临床医学领域靠近。本科毕业后，她加入北京大学生命科学学院李沉简教授的实验室团队，参与科研工作，“特别感谢李沉简教授在我追求梦想的道路上所长期给予的慷慨帮助。”

众所周知，要想在我国成为一名临床医生，常规路径是高考填报医学院，攻读临床五年制（本科）、临床“5+3”一体化（本硕连读）或者临床八年制（本博连读）专业，方有资格参加执业医师考试。

这意味着，如果本科不学临床医学，基本与医生职业无缘了。

经过知识的补充积累与科研实践，陈如月曾申请北京协和医学院的“4+4”试点班项目，即4年非医学专业教育+4年医学教育，最终获得临床医学博士学位，该项目面向国内外高水平大学本科毕业生，招生人数较少，竞争非常激烈。遗憾的是，陈如月最终未被录取。

2023年，打算再战高考时，陈如月仔细考虑过去哪里备考：参加社会机构的复读？还是在家里自学？经过仔细比较，作为上实校友的她更相信自己的母校。

她回到上实向老师们谈及了自己这一“石破天惊”的决定。“学校很受触动，决定帮助她。在高三的教室里，为她留一个座位。”上实校长徐红、常务副校长瞿祖芳和当年带过她的班主任、高中部主任朱琳等众多老师都给予了支持。

此时距离陈如月第一次高考已过去6年，教材全部改版，校长和老师们不仅帮她梳理新课标的学习要点，和她一起进行学习规划，更关注她的备考心理，尤其是给予精神鼓励，这让陈如月感到非常温暖。

正是这种爱护与守护让陈如月重返高考考场之路更为顺畅。

2023年11月，通过校方牵线，陈如月前往仁济医院进行职业体验，学校希望这位特殊的同学能够更加清晰地了解自己所向往的职业。校长徐红很贴心地问她，体验下来感觉怎么样，希望她真正了解医生的实际工作后，对自己的选择有更准确深入的认知。

“事实上，这次职业体验更加坚定了我学医的决心。”陈如月很感动，“校长和老师们真正关切着我未来的幸福。”

徐红告诉澎湃新闻，“成就不如成全，从兴趣到志趣，学校的育人宗旨始终是让每个学生成为更好的自己。”

除了高中母校，陈如月感慨自己还很幸运地拥有开明的父母。在过去数年里，家人的支持和鼓励陪伴她度过了许多至关重要的时刻，也让她有充分时间空间去思考学医的选择。

回忆第二次参加高考的三天，陈如月觉得自己不算紧张。也许考前会有一些担忧，毕竟只复习了一年，要与拼搏三年的年轻高手们同台竞技；真正进入考场之后，就很专注地答题了。

此后就是等待高考出分：最终，她的分数入围上海交大医学院综合评价面试，随后，她便积极投入到综评面试的准备中。

综合评价批次招生是新高考改革后推出的一种特殊招生方式，‌它结合考生的高考成绩、‌综合素质评价信息以及院校的专业测试成绩确定最终的录取结果。2024年参与上海市综合评价批次招生的试点院校包括复旦大学、上海交通大学等11所院校。

在上海交大医学院综评面试时，陈如月的经历不出意料地成为了考官们面试的重点。她详细解释了自己一路走来所做的种种努力和跌宕起伏的心路历程，其中一场面试时间也有所延长。

陈如月记得，当时有位面试的老师问她，“你付出了这么多，如果没被交医录取，你怎么办？”

她对此胸有成竹，“如果没有能进入交大，我依然能够在别的医学院就读，选择重新高考的优势就在于这里。”高考只要考出一个比较理想的分数，就有不同层次的医学院可供选择。“只要进了临床医学的大门，我的未来就能通过自己的努力去改变。”陈如月说。

近年来，医学专业炙手可热，今年，上海交大医学院的综评分数线比去年上涨了足足10分之多，当被问起如何看待考生对于医学专业的热情增长这一现象时，陈如月给出了自己的分析：“对于这样的变化，我认为是非常合情合理的。从往年数据看，优秀综合型高校里医学部的分数线往往低于本部。但放眼世界，也存在优秀学生选择从医的大量例子。”

她还描绘了一种比较理想的状态：并非将医学作为保底的选择，即因为考不了别的专业或者能力不够才去学医。“我很乐意从一个比较乐观的角度去看待医学院分数线提升的现象，我愿意把它理解为如今有志于从医的优秀学生数量逐渐增加，这对于医学专业而言是件好事，对于社会而言可能也是一个良好的导向。”

进入大学后，陈如月希望打造自己过硬的实力，“专业课程能力一定要过硬，可能的话尽早开始科研，专科方面如果没有意外的话，应该会选急诊医学或重症医学方向。”

事实上，陈如月不是第一个、也不会是最后一个大学毕业后选择重新高考的学生。在今年有关高考的公开报道中，就有35岁清华毕业生16年后想重新高考学医、清华男生毕业1年后重新高考如愿学中医等真实案例，引发社会热议。有类似经历的陈如月如何看待这一现象？

她表示，“自我实现对于一个人而言是重要的高阶需求。所以我认为，在不伤害自己和他人的前提下，能为社会做出一点贡献的同时，完成自己内心的愿望、顺从自己的天性，这是一件非常值得鼓励的事情。”

对于名校的光环，陈如月认为这是一种外在评判或者标签，“我们一方面给别人贴标签，同时也给自己贴标签，这种标签可能会无意识地限制我们的发展。标签本身是主观的，不应该用标签全然框定一个人生存和发展的可能性。”

仔细思考自己的职业选择，陈如月引用了一段话：“如果我们通过冷静的研究，认清所选择的职业的全部分量，了解它的困难以后，仍然对它充满热情，我们仍然爱它。觉得自己适合它，那时我们就应该选择它，那时我们既不会受热情欺骗，也不会仓促从事。”

这段话节选自马克思的《青年在选择职业时的考虑》，陈如月仔细阅读过，也深入思考过，她对书中观点十分赞同，就如其中所说的，“如果我们把这一切都考虑过了，如果我们生活的条件容许我们选择任何一种职业；那么我们就可以选择一种能使我们最有尊严的职业；选择一种建立在我们深信其正确的思想上的职业；选择一种能给我们提供广阔场所来为人类进行活动、接近共同目标（对这个目标来说，一切职业只不过是手段）即完美境地的职业。”

今年高考，上实有两位特殊的考生引人关注，一位是12岁的“小孩哥”刘尧，已如愿被中科大少年班录取；一位是24岁的陈如月，为了临床医生的梦想，再次加入高考行列，同样也收获了胜利的果实。徐红用今年上海高考语文作文的主题给他俩送祝福：“每一个人都有对自己的‘认可度’，上实为你们骄傲！”

徐红感慨道，陈如月的故事，也让我们反思，对于专业和职业，不为外在的名气所累，在热门和热爱之间做出忠于自己的内心的抉择，这很难得。

陈如月的妈妈也以自己种植花草蔬果的心境来总结女儿的人生选择：“敢于自我挑战的人生真的无比美好。人生不要自我设限！想做的事情现在开始努力去做，去尝试！只要你努力，你会得到生活的馈赠！”

This is a passionate but also challenging path. In order to fulfill her dream of studying medicine, Chen Ruyue, who graduated two years ago in 2023, decided to prepare for the college entrance examination again. Her open-minded parents, former teachers, and alma mater, Shangshi, provided comprehensive support and encouragement.

When it comes to her choices, Chen Ruyue said, "From childhood to adulthood, especially during my undergraduate studies at Peking University, I have repeatedly thought about my future career choices. In the end, I realized that my greatest interest and the most suitable one are doctors." In her opinion, self actualization is an important high-level need for a person. Being able to contribute to society without harming oneself or others, while fulfilling one's inner desires and conforming to one's nature, is a very encouraging thing.

From Heartbeat to Action

During her high school years, Chen Ruyue performed exceptionally well academically. When she first took the college entrance examination in 2017, she was admitted to the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University and subsequently entered the finance major, which was recognized as a popular major by the public at that time.

The budding of wanting to study medicine began around sophomore year. In freshman year, the focus was on basic courses, and after starting to study finance related majors in sophomore year, Chen Ruyue gradually realized that although she did not encounter any learning obstacles, finance was not her most interested field.

From childhood to adulthood, especially during my undergraduate studies at Peking University, I have repeatedly thought about many professions. In the end, I realized that the profession that interests me the most and is most suitable for me is doctors. "Chen Ruyue said that doctors are a profession that directly interacts with people, and the value of doctors is directly reflected in the feedback of service recipients during the interaction process." In my junior year, my desire to transition became clearer. The emergence of the COVID-19 in 2020 also played a great role in boosting it. "The angel in white became a rebel, and my sense of social responsibility to heal the wounded and save the dying made my blood boil. For me, the road to medicine is a road of hard challenges and a sense of achievement. Chen Ruyue said that the process of choosing is not right or wrong. It is a process of self exploration, questioning oneself, and discovering oneself. At first, the idea of studying medicine revolved more around oneself. After experiencing the epidemic, she realized that studying medicine also has great significance for society.

At the beginning of the epidemic, there was a shortage of manpower, and there were not many doctors who could be sent to the front line, especially in the field of emergency and critical care. At this time, I had a very specific imagination about studying medicine: I could become an emergency and critical care doctor and join their ranks. "In her senior year, Chen Ruyue took many biology related courses and worked hard to get closer to the field of clinical medicine. After graduating from undergraduate studies, she joined professor Li Chenjian's laboratory team at the School of Life Sciences, Peking University, and participated in scientific research work. As is well known, in order to become a clinical doctor in China, the conventional path is to apply for medical school through the college entrance examination, and pursue a five-year clinical program (undergraduate), a "5+3" integrated clinical program (bachelor's and master's degree), or an eight year clinical program (bachelor's and doctoral degree) in order to be eligible to take the practicing physician examination.

This means that if one does not study clinical medicine during their undergraduate studies, they will have little chance of pursuing a career as a doctor.

Through knowledge supplementation, accumulation, and scientific research practice, Chen Ruyue once applied for the "4+4" pilot program at Peking Union Medical College, which includes 4 years of non-medical professional education and 4 years of medical education, and ultimately obtained a clinical medical doctoral degree. This program is aimed at undergraduate graduates from high-level universities at home and abroad, with a relatively small enrollment and fierce competition. Unfortunately, Chen Ruyue was ultimately not admitted.

Achievement is not as good as fulfillment

In 2023, when planning to take the college entrance examination again, Chen Ruyue carefully considered where to prepare for the exam: to participate in the re examination of social institutions? Or self-study at home? After careful comparison, as an alumnus of Shanghai University of Science and Technology, she believes more in her alma mater.

She returned to Shangshi and talked to the teachers about her shocking decision. The school was deeply moved and decided to help her. In the classroom of her senior year of high school, a seat was reserved for her. "Many teachers, including Principal Xu Hong, Executive Vice Principal Qu Zufang, and her former homeroom teacher and high school department director Zhu Lin, provided support.
