16次高考的唐尚珺：明年我不考了

今年6月，35岁的唐尚珺在广西迎来了第16次高考。

2016年，唐尚珺因挚友何汉立拍摄的纪录片《高十》而被人们熟知，那年是唐尚珺第8次参加高考。

当年的何汉立怎么也想不到，直到2024年，唐尚珺还在考。

今年高考成绩公布后，中国新闻周刊在南宁见到了唐尚珺，他穿着运动鞋，背着双肩包，包里装着填报志愿的参考书。当谈起今年是否会去上大学时，唐尚珺犹豫了，他嗫嚅道：“一切目前还不好说，我的分数还是没有达到自己理想的状态。”

看到唐尚珺再一次迟疑，何汉立端起酒杯红了眼：“珺，你35岁了，不能总在自己的舒适区里任性了，大胆往前走出来，好不好，大家都希望你不要再考了。”

唐尚珺扬脖，将杯中酒一饮而尽，可何汉立却没有等到自己想要的回答。

“分道”与“重逢”

“现在唐尚珺成了名人，没有我他就是个人名。”何汉立对中国新闻周刊表示。他坦言，这么多年来，自己一直在反思，自己到底是在帮了朋友还是害了他。

何汉立和唐尚珺相识于初中，因为两人来自同一个县城，所以成了朋友。

在何汉立的记忆中，自己和唐尚珺起初成绩很好，初中第一次考试就拿到了全校前两名，后来也顺利地进入了尖子班。

中考当天，唐尚珺突然不见了，考试也没来。何汉立直到升入高中后才得知，唐尚珺得了一种怪病，考试前突然迷迷糊糊，浑身没力气，多次晕倒所以没能参加中考。

何汉立回忆，高一时，唐尚珺曾经来学校找过他并询问自己能否和他一起读高中。为此何汉立去找过校长。校长表示，因为唐尚珺没有参加中考绝无可能直接上高中。

唐尚珺沮丧离去后的很长一段时间，何汉立再也没有见过他。不仅没见过，也没有唐尚珺的任何联系方式，除了一个QQ号。

何汉立按部就班地完成高中学业参加高考，并且考中广西当地的一所院校，毕业后找到了一份电视台的工作并定居在了南宁。在这个过程中，何汉立始终试图寻找唐尚珺，但是所有的QQ留言都没有回复，他只能在唐尚珺的QQ空间反复留言，希望唐尚珺可以发现自己。

2014年，唐尚珺的QQ头像终于亮了起来。对话框中，唐尚珺对何汉立表示：“自己找到了生命的本质，悟到了人生的意义，正在做一件很重要的事。”

何汉立吓坏了，以为唐尚珺出家了。急忙约唐尚珺面谈，两个多年的好友这才得以再次相见。

当见面后唐尚珺坦白了自己这些年的轨迹后，何汉立大为震惊，唐尚珺竟然还在参加高考。

随即，何汉立决定以唐尚珺为原型拍摄一套纪录片，那年是唐尚珺第8次参加高考，暂定的片名就叫做《高八》。

何汉立对中国新闻周刊表示，之所以把镜头对准唐尚珺有两个原因，一方面是自己想要通过影像记录的形式弄明白唐尚珺反复复读的原因，另一方面则是希望通过纪录片让唐尚珺的故事被更多的人知道，以此倒逼唐尚珺能往前走一步迈出泥潭。

由于涉及“高考复读”这一敏感的话题，何汉立的拍摄并不顺利，唐尚珺复读的机构禁止何汉立进入拍摄，何汉立只能以个人身份趁假期时偷偷混入课堂进行拍摄。

本来计划在2014年结束拍摄的《高八》，硬生生被唐尚珺拖到了2016年上映，片名也自然变为了《高十》。

从质疑到理解，到再质疑再理解

何汉立表示，当年通过拍摄纪录片，自己理解了唐尚珺的行为。想要考上理想的大学而复读，并且每年复读都能提高成绩，也就是距离自己的目标又近了一步。

唐尚珺告诉中国新闻周刊，2009年是自己第一次参加高考，但高考前头晕又犯了，迷迷糊糊只考了372分，他决定复读。

复读的第一年，分数提高到了400多分，家里无力支持他继续读下去，他选择了南宁一所专科学校，但并没有去，瞒着家里继续复读。

一连复读了3年，唐尚珺的成绩在持续进步已经超过了1本线，但他还是决定继续读，因为他想上清华大学。

2016年也是《高十》上映的年份。那年唐尚珺考了625分，拿到了中国政法大学的录取通知书。

何汉立很欣慰，他认为自己陪伴好友度过了最艰难的岁月，他终于可以上岸了。

但就在那年，唐尚珺得知父亲确诊癌症晚期，就在去中国政法大学报到前，他得知某市某校招收复读尖子生，高考600分以上的学生来该校复读，可享受一次性10万元的奖励，学费住宿费全免。如果在次年考上清华北大，则一次性奖励60万元。

想到父亲生病需要钱治病，唐尚珺决定放弃中国政法大学，拿奖励给父亲治病。

“其实我没有任何选择的余地，从来没见过那么多钱，即使重复选择一百次，我也会选择给父亲治病。”因此唐尚珺不可避免地再次陷入了高考的无限循环中。

每年的高考后，何汉立都会抽出大段的时间陪唐尚珺，主要的工作不再是拍摄纪录片，而是劝说何汉立上岸，“赶紧找个大学读，不要再复读了”。

这一劝又是8年，何汉立家附近的大排档成为二人最常出没的地方。何汉立想不通，到底是什么原因让唐尚珺走不出来，直到他想起了二人初中时的一段故事。

初中时，集市上有一种游戏，顾客只要可以写数字从1到500，就可以获得一台胶卷相机。但中间写错便视为失败，需要缴纳商家20元，获得一瓶市场价格仅为5元的洗发水。

有一天何汉立看到唐尚珺垂头丧气拎着好几瓶洗发水回到寝室，追问下得知他花了60元写了3次都没有成功。随后何汉立拉着唐尚珺重返摊位，并成功搞到了那台胶卷相机。

多年过去，当何汉立强调自己是一次就成功时，唐尚珺仍显得不服气：“其实写数字本身不难，但是老板一直在我耳边打扰我，扰乱我的思绪，让我分心，所以我才写错了。”

“那你写错一次花了20可以不再去写了啊，你怎么还写？”何汉立反问唐尚珺。

见唐尚珺不回答，何汉立说：“你看这就是你身上的赌性在作祟，搭进去的赌资越多，你陷得就越深。”

唐尚珺之所以一而再，再而三参加高考，是因为他投入的赌注太大了。“在他搭进去了时间、精力、金钱甚至是整个青春时，他的赌注就变得无限大，根本脱不了身。”

“我必须拽他上岸。”这个念头这些年在何汉立心中越来越明确。于是他开始教唐尚珺用社交媒体，拍短视频甚至是尝试直播。何汉立认为唐尚珺缺乏与当下社会接轨的方式，无论最终高考结果如何，唐尚珺必须尝试接触社会才能最终生存下来。

“务实一点，再务实一点”

在纪录片《高十》中，唐尚珺曾袒露，自己目标是考上清华大学。

拿清华大学当目标的原因很简单，小时候唐尚珺听说邻村有个人考上了清华，后来当了官还给村里修了路，此后在村中，考上清华大学就等同于光宗耀祖。

虽然唐尚珺从来没有见过那个考上清华的人，但他却亲眼见过清华大学。2013年暑假，唐尚珺坐了20多个小时的绿皮火车抵达北京后成功混入清华大学，并留下了深刻的印象。

“学校很大，很气派，就是那个‘光宗耀祖’的样子。”此外北京给他留下的印象还有，“北京烤鸭不如广西本地的烧鸭好吃。”

十几年过去，唐尚珺考清华的目标发生了偏移，主要原因是日益增长的年龄。“我已经35岁了，还不知道什么时候能考上清华大学，即便是考上清华大学毕业后能否顺利就业？又能从事怎样的工作？这不现实也不理智。”唐尚珺说。

在何汉立年复一年的劝说下，唐尚珺放弃了对清华大学的目标，转而投向师范类专业。在他唐尚珺看来，教师还是一份体面的工作。

在去年，他们差一点就成功了。唐尚珺考了594分，虽然自己对成绩依然不满意，但还是决定去上大学。可由于填报志愿时只选择了师范类专业，四个志愿均被退档。随后一本补录的专业不合适，又不甘心读二本，他只能选择再来一次。

“我想过和大家一样的生活”，在唐尚珺看来，和大家一样的生活就是去工作、去赚钱养家、娶一个老婆、生几个孩子。

“我就很羡慕你，你看你有工作，有老婆，还有两个娃，生活得很正常。”唐尚珺指着何汉立示意对方与自己碰杯。

“我就没有我的苦吗？我两个娃都要上学，还要换学区房，上有老下有小，单位还有很多的加班要应对，头发越来越少了。我应该羡慕你才对，年年高考不用接触这些。”何汉立将酒倒满。唐尚珺笑笑，他知道何汉立又在开自己的玩笑。

“人总归是要往前走的对吧？我不可能总是在高考，高考现在也越来越难了，从最初背一背就可以拿分，到现在更多的发散性思维的东西，我再考可能也没有办法突破更多了。”唐尚珺说。

如今，唐尚珺不再奢望清华大学，还将目标定得更加务实了一些，“母亲如今年纪大了，我或许不会离开她太远，选择广西本地的学校，最远到广东也不错。”

在社交媒体上，有不少人给唐尚珺留言给他鼓励，但也有很多人说话很难听。有人说唐尚珺是懦夫、是逃兵、是占用教育资源的人，也有人说何汉立是一直在吃唐尚珺的“人血馒头”。

何汉立曾为此很痛苦，他觉得是自己的原因让好友承受了本不应该承受的压力，但唐尚珺却表现得很淡定：“如果没有他在后面推着我，我对周边社会一无所知，我说不定会更加封闭，那将会陷得更深，我们是朋友，不要想那些有的没的。”

何汉立对中国新闻周刊表示，自己今年一定要把唐尚珺推上岸，他决定盯着他填志愿，盯着他勾选“服从调剂”，盯着他去大学报到，盯着他进入宿舍，一直盯着他上第一堂课……

“我豁出去了，我再拍一部纪录片，就叫《高十八》，这次片名我不改了，你小子同意不同意？”何汉立把酒杯重重地放到桌上，桌上散落的螺壳，弹了起来。

唐尚珺笑而不语，默默再次喝掉了杯中的酒，然后又把何汉立的杯子倒满。

"Now Tang Shangjun has become a celebrity, without me, he would be his personal name," He Hanli told China News Weekly. He admitted that over the years, he has been reflecting on whether he was helping his friend or harming him.

He Hanli and Tang Shangjun met in junior high school and became friends because they came from the same county.

In He Hanli's memory, he and Tang Shangjun initially achieved good grades and ranked in the top two of the school on their first junior high school exam. Later, they also smoothly entered the top class.

On the day of the high school entrance examination, Tang Shangjun suddenly disappeared and did not come for the exam. He Hanli only learned after entering high school that Tang Shangjun had a strange illness. Before the exam, he suddenly felt dizzy and weak, fainting multiple times, so he was unable to take the middle school entrance exam.

He Hanli recalled that in his first year of high school, Tang Shangjun once came to the school to look for him and asked if he could attend high school with him. He Hanli went to find the principal for this. The principal stated that it is impossible for Tang Shangjun to directly attend high school because he did not take the middle school entrance examination.

For a long time after Tang Shangjun left in frustration, He Hanli never saw him again. Not only have I never seen it, but I also don't have any contact information for Tang Shangjun, except for a QQ account.

He Hanli completed his high school studies step by step and took the college entrance examination. He also passed the entrance examination at a local university in Guangxi. After graduation, he found a job in a television station and settled in Nanning. During this process, He Hanli always tried to find Tang Shangjun, but all his QQ messages were not replied to. He could only leave repeated messages in Tang Shangjun's QQ space, hoping that Tang Shangjun could discover him.

In 2014, Tang Shangjun's QQ avatar finally lit up. In the dialogue box, Tang Shangjun said to He Hanli, "I have found the essence of life, realized the meaning of life, and am doing something very important."

He Hanli was frightened and thought that Tang Shangjun had become a monk. Hurriedly arranged a meeting with Tang Shangjun, and it was only then that the two long-time friends were able to meet again.

After Tang Shangjun confessed his trajectory over the years after meeting, He Hanli was greatly shocked that Tang Shangjun was still taking the college entrance examination.

Immediately, He Hanli decided to shoot a documentary based on Tang Shangjun. That year was Tang Shangjun's 8th time taking the college entrance examination, and the tentative title was "High School Eight".

He Hanli told China News Weekly that there are two reasons why he aimed the camera at Tang Shangjun. On the one hand, he wanted to understand the reason why Tang Shangjun repeated his story through video recording. On the other hand, he hoped that through documentaries, more people would know Tang Shangjun's story, which would force Tang Shangjun to take a step forward and step out of the quagmire.

From questioning to understanding, to questioning and understanding again

He Hanli said that he understood Tang Shangjun's behavior through filming a documentary back then. I want to get into my ideal university and repeat it every year to improve my grades, which means I am one step closer to my goal.

Tang Shangjun told China Newsweek that 2009 was his first time taking the college entrance examination, but before the exam, he felt dizzy again and only scored 372 points in a daze. He decided to repeat the exam.

In the first year of repeating his studies, his score increased to over 400 points, and his family was unable to support him to continue his studies. He chose a vocational school in Nanning, but did not go and continued his studies without telling his family.

After the annual college entrance examination, He Hanli would spend a lot of time with Tang Shangjun. His main job was no longer to shoot documentaries, but to persuade He Hanli to go ashore and "quickly find a university to study and not repeat it.".

This advice lasted for another 8 years, and the large food stall near He Hanli's house became the most common place for the two of them to appear. He Hanli couldn't figure out the reason why Tang Shangjun couldn't come out, until he remembered a story from their middle school years.

In middle school, there was a game at the market where customers could write numbers from 1 to 500 to get a film camera. But if you make a mistake in the middle, it will be considered a failure, and you need to pay the merchant 20 yuan to get a bottle of shampoo with a market price of only 5 yuan.

One day, He Hanli saw Tang Shangjun dejected and carrying several bottles of shampoo back to his dormitory. After questioning, he found out that he had spent 60 yuan to write three times but failed. Later, He Hanli pulled Tang Shangjun back to the booth and successfully obtained the film camera.
