(That's one small step for (a) man, one giant leap for mankind.)
1620年,“可以潜水的船只”在泰晤士河上进行实验,人类可以潜入水下了;
1903年12月17日,莱特兄弟的第一架飞机试飞成功,人类可以飞上天空了;
1961年4月,苏联宇航员加加林乘坐东方1号进入太空,人类第一次脱离地球;
The first person to gaze at Earth from the moon was American astronaut Armstrong, but when he returned to Earth, he became silent and speechless. The most shocking thing is that Armstrong said an astonishing sentence: I believe that God exists. What is the mystery of the moon? Do you really feel scared when looking at the Earth from the moon? What are they afraid of again? What is the mystery of the moon? The moon is the closest celestial body to us and the only natural satellite on Earth. It was born 4.5 billion years ago, much earlier than the birth of humanity. The moon is 1/49 of the Earth's volume and has a diameter of 3476 kilometers, which is approximately 3/11 of the Earth's diameter. The surface area of the moon is approximately 1/14 of the Earth's surface area, which is slightly smaller than the area of Asia. As early as over a thousand years ago, the famous poet Su Shi wrote a poem about the moon - "Man has joys and sorrows, separation and reunion, and the moon has its ups and downs." The changes in the moon's ups and downs refer to the amount of light that can be seen on Earth when the moon orbits around it. The moon orbits the Earth once a month, so the area of the illuminated part of the moon seen on Earth is sometimes large and sometimes small. The moon's ups and downs are not the most peculiar. The most peculiar thing is that it always faces the Earth on the same side. This peculiar phenomenon has aroused great curiosity among people. What exactly is on the far side of the moon? In 1959, the Soviet Union launched a lunar probe and discovered a strange scene on its surface on the moon. After the Soviet lunar probe was launched on the moon, it lost contact for a while, which scientists did not expect. Just as everyone was disappointed, the probe uploaded a photo from the moon, which captured the far side of the moon. Even more eerie was the appearance of four shadows on the far side of the moon, which left researchers stunned. Is there really an alien on the moon? due to blurry photos and outdated technology at the time, the Soviet Union had no ability to uncover this secret, so it avoided discussing it. On July 20, 1969, the United States launched the Apollo 11 lunar spacecraft, successfully sending three astronauts to the moon. Astronaut Armstrong was still on the surface of the moon, leaving the first human footprint. according to US lunar landing data, most of the moon is a bumpy crater with no water or air, and everywhere is desolate. However, a few years later, American scientists also reported the discovery of pyramid like structures on the far side of the moon, as well as large spacecraft, ultra long runways, and even many footprints. So people began to speculate recklessly. Even many scientists have come to believe that there is a secret alien base on the far side of the moon. These speculations have also been adapted into science fiction movies. In 2009, "The Moon" tells the story of people mining energy on the moon in the future. The moon is desolate, but it contains a special energy substance - helium-3. In 2022, "The Fall of the Moon" boldly speculates that the interior of the moon is empty and controlled by extraterrestrial civilizations. With the rapid development of China's aerospace technology, at 10:26 am on January 3, 2019, China's Chang'e-4 probe successfully landed on the far side of the moon at 177.6 degrees east longitude and 45.5 degrees south latitude. The world's first close-up image of the lunar back has been transmitted back to Earth, revealing the mysterious veil of the ancient lunar back. These photos overturn the claim that the moon is an alien base, and there are no spacecraft or fighter jets on the far side of the moon. The far side of the moon is the Antarctic Aitken Basin, which is composed of low calcium pyroxene and olivine. It turns out that the moon is not mysterious, it's just that we know very little about it and make random guesses, which leads to its mystery. The four shadows on the back of the moon, two of which are black dots representing basins, one is a mountain range, and the other is an illusion caused by light. The so-called existence of pyramids, spacecraft, runways, footprints, and so on on on the far side of the moon in the United States is purely absurd. What did Armstrong experience to make him believe that "God" exists? Armstrong was the first human to step onto the moon, undergoing rigorous training, possessing a wealth of scientific and theoretical knowledge, and possessing willpower and psychological qualities that must be among the top. But even so, after returning to Earth, he became silent and began to believe in God. Is it true that, as people say, "the end of science is theology?". The US lunar landing program took place during the Cold War, when the US and the Soviet Union engaged in a fierce space race. Their aerospace level lags far behind other countries. In order to win the space race, the United States launched the Apollo program. With the help of the whole country, it cost 24 billion US dollars to land on the moon. On July 16, 1969, the Apollo 11 spacecraft landed on the moon, making Armstrong the first human to step on the surface of the moon. Armstrong stepped on the moon with his left foot and said, "This is a small step for a person, but a big step for humanity.". That's one small step for (a) man, one giant leap for humanity. But behind the miracle lies immense pressure and fear. When the Apollo 11 spacecraft passed through the atmosphere, radiation from space directly covered it. Although wearing a spacesuit can isolate cosmic rays, it can never relieve the psychological pressure of astronauts. After landing on the moon, Armstrong exclaimed in surprise, "Oh my goodness! There are many big things there! They are really big! They are staying on the other end of the crater! They are watching us arrive on the moon!". However, these were switched off by the ground center, which is the famous 4 minutes and 30 seconds event! apart from Armstrong, other people who went to the moon also had problems. James Alvin discovered a mysterious stone on the moon and said, "It seems like a mysterious force has placed the stone in that place and guided him to pick it up!" After returning to Earth, Alvin created a religious organization called Gao Fei and began to search for the existence of the "God"! Edgar Mitchell said, "I have a strange feeling of being watched by something, as if I have had a spiritual contact with intelligent life in the universe." After returning to Earth, he joined the organization of the Abstract Science Association, dedicated to studying supernatural phenomena, and believed that Earth is not the only planet in the universe that has produced civilization! They all had a wish: "If possible, they would like someone to go to the moon and wipe away the traces they left!" After landing on the moon, they felt immense fear and disappointment. Looking at the Earth from afar, humanity was too small. At that moment, faith collapsed: "What we strive for is meaningless!" Looking at the Earth from the moon, the Earth was really too big. There are many types of fear, such as dense fear, monster fear, loneliness fear, social fear, and so on. When we look at the Earth from the moon, we also experience a fear, which is the fear of giants. What is Giant Fear? simply put, it means being very afraid to see things that are very large in size and have very clear shapes, such as ships, airplanes, large statues, and so on. When patients see such large objects, they may feel suppressed and even experience dizziness. How to determine if one is afraid of giants? It's simple, just find a huge object and stare at it. Will you see facial contours, animal or human contours? If you can see them, it's a fear of giants. Of course, if you feel that the giant object in front of you is about to turn into a monster to harm you at any time, it is a typical form of monster fear. Giant object phobia is usually treated through psychological counseling, allowing people to subjectively adapt. Astronauts have undergone rigorous psychological training and possess extremely high levels of rational thinking, courage to act, and the ability to remain calm in the face of danger. And psychological experts will provide specialized lectures on psychology, such as how to relax and manage emotions. How to relieve tension, irritability, and fear through physical coordination. However, these are all on Earth, and once you step on the moon, the situation will undergo earth shattering changes. On the desolate surface of the moon, one can see the Earth hanging in the sky, without the sun rising in the east and setting in the west, nor the moon with a clear and round shape. The sun moves slowly, taking about 7 days to rise from the lunar horizon to the top of the head, and another 7 days to slowly fall below the lunar horizon! Looking up at the sky, the blue sky and white clouds no longer exist, only the sun and the huge earth can be seen, everything else is darkness. The huge Earth has created a great sense of oppression, and we are even worried about being hit and swallowed. When the moon enters perigee, the effect becomes more pronounced due to the proximity. In addition, there is a large amount of water, glaciers, and clouds on Earth, which can reflect sunlight, making the Earth appear very bright. Resulting in being able to see the existence of the Earth clearly during the daytime on the moon. A bright behemoth, constantly facing you, is precisely the Earth on which we rely for survival. Such pressure is difficult for anyone to restrain! A pair of eyes are staring at you, I don't know if you have had such an experience, walking alone through a forest. At this moment, the sun had just set and the forest had become very dim, causing me to worry. So, I quickened my pace, but I always felt like someone was chasing after me. I glanced at the big tree next to me, as if someone was standing there. If there were two scars on the tree, it would be like a pair of eyes. If you have such a feeling, you can understand what American astronaut Edgar Mitchell said: "I have a strange feeling of being watched by something.". The Earth has an atmosphere and clouds, which are constantly changing and superimposed with seawater, forming this illusion. The more afraid you are, the more obvious this illusion becomes. On the moon, astronauts are already under pressure and naturally experience this illusion, which can lead to feelings of fear. Fear of the Unknown Realm In the 1970s, the Soviet Union and the United States were the two most powerful countries at the time, with much greater power than other countries. After 11 years of national effort, the United States finally landed on the moon, which was originally a celebratory event. However, after landing on the moon, I realized my ignorance and insignificance, and the faith that was once established on Earth collapsed instantly. Human history has existed for over 6 million years, and from the emergence of humans to the present day, a total of 108.2 billion people have been born. These extremely large amounts of data in the universe are just fleeting moments. Human civilization has developed rapidly, and we are also immensely proud. In 1620, "submersible ships" conducted experiments on the Thames River, and humans were able to dive underwater; On December 17, 1903, the Wright brothers successfully test flew their first plane, allowing humans to fly into the sky; In April 1961, Soviet cosmonaut Gagarin entered space aboard Dongfang-1, marking the first time humans had left Earth; On July 16, 1969, the Apollo 11 spacecraft landed on the moon, marking the first time humans had set foot on a planet outside of Earth. All of this is our pride and the pillar we strive for. But when looking at the Earth from the moon, these prides and pillars also instantly collapse. More than 7 billion people live on this blue planet, orbiting the sun for over 4 billion years in solitude. The Earth is too small in the vast universe, and humans know too little about things beyond Earth. Thinking that they are just an ordinary member of 7 billion people, there is nothing to be proud of. Pride turns into disappointment, and disappointment turns into fear. Why do people feel scared when looking at the Earth from the moon? Firstly, there is megaphobia: the Earth is 49 times larger than the Moon, and we are accustomed to standing on Earth and looking at the smaller Moon. Once we turn around, the huge and bright Earth hangs in the sky, very close and very bright. Due to megaphobia, we inevitably feel scared. Secondly, there is fear of unfamiliar things: although we often see the moon, it is vastly different from stepping on the moon. Everything is unfamiliar on the moon, what is on the far side of the moon? Is it really something that only exists on Earth? These issues eventually evolved into fear. Faith Collapse: Astronauts who set foot on the moon experienced varying degrees of faith collapse upon returning to Earth. They began to believe in "God" and even began to search for "gods". Human civilization, which has developed for millions of years, is only a fleeting moment in the universe. Thinking of this makes my spine shiver, and looking at the Earth makes me feel even more lonely and fearful!
